Role Summary

The company is recruiting an operational, hands-on NP CT (Nominated Person Crew Training) with a good understanding of the regulatory framework and its application. You should have Management skills and experience of contact with the authorities. The position is located at our head office in Malmö/MMX.

Requirements

  • Type Rating Instructor on one of the following or similar types: BAe ATP, CRJ-200 or B737.
  • Practical experience and expertise in the application of aviation safety standards and safe operating practices; 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of

                          - the applicable EU safety regulations and any associated requirements and procedures;

                          - the AOC holder's operations specifications; and

                           -the need for, and content of, the relevant parts of the AOC holder's operations manual; 

  • Familiarity with management systems preferably in the area of aviation;
  • Appropriate management experience, preferably in a comparable organisation;
  • 5 years of relevant work experience of which at least 2 years should be from the aeronautical industry in an appropriate position.

Station Controller EDI and ABZ Royal Mail Hubs

Responsible to: Line Maintenance Manager


Role Summary

To provide and support effective and efficient engineering at EDI and ABZ Royal Mail Hubs, that meet the operational requirements in a sustainable and safe manner. Responsible, with the support of the line maintenance manager for ensuring the relevant line shift work at EDI is planned and carried out on time, in full, and to the required standards set by the MOE and operators CAME.


Responsibilities


Responsible for delegating the allocated work on the line at EDI/ABZ; in consultation with the planning department,LMC and line maintenance manager.
Plan, distribute and supervise workload to day and night shift rostered staff. Ensure all work is completed. Report any discrepancies/incomplete work to line maintenance manager/planning departments and LMC. Responsible for informing the airline and LMC of the state of the aircraft, and inform them of any delays/disruptions
Responsible for arranging day and night shift man power to meet any incoming/departing aircraft, and assisting LMC and line maintenance manager with night shift rostering as required to ensure the needs of EDI/ABZ operation are met.
Ensure any delay reports are competed on the company’s cloud reporting system.
Ensure all work is completed IAW company procedures and the relevant maintenance documentation, Technical logs and work orders, are completed and returned to technical records.
Support the implementation and maintenance of the company policies.
Ensure all work is carried out safely and educate and supervise engineering staff in safe methods of working.
Support the organisation with the development of safe means of working.
Ensure company logistics and work pack control system is completed correctly for all work carried out by the engineers.
Report any deficiencies to Line Maintenance Manager/Logistics as required.#
Responsible for ensuring any required parts/tools for maintenance are ordered correctly, and monitor with logistics regarding estimated/required delivery times. Ensure tools and equipment are treated correctly, and are stored in the correct locations
Responsible for ensuring proper handover procedures are completed iaw the MOE and local station procedures.
Ensure company premises are maintained and good housekeeping standards are met at all times. Report any building/facilities defects to Line Maintenance Manager.
Ensures that any spares moved via COMAT are controlled and associated line stations are informed.
Ensures any stock replenishment items are received and located correctly on the company’s Envision system.
Carry out any other such reasonable duties as the company sees fit in accordance with the responsibilities of the position.
Responsible for ensuring approving any annual leave requested by EDI and ABZ engineering staff and responsible alongside the P145 administrator to ensure any leave is covered with correctly approved and capable staff

B1 Engineer – Stansted Royal Mail Hub - Days

Hours:                        40 hrs per week, Mon – Fri only.

Responsible to:          Line Maintenance Manager (LMM)      

Role Summary 

To provide and support effective and efficient engineering at STN, that meets the operational requirements in a sustainable and safe manner. 

Responsible for ensuring that the relevant line maintenance at STN is carried out on time, in full, and to the required standards. Line maintenance is categorised as, meet and greet support, daily and weekly inspection, flight log and crew reported defects, out of phase and scheduled maintenance.

Engineers will be rostered Monday to Friday day shift, as scheduled by the P145 administration department.
Hours are flexible and subject to change dependant on operational requirements.

Responsibilities 

Ensure all work is completed IAW company procedures and the relevant maintenance documentation, technical logs and work orders, are completed and returned to technical records.

Ensure the West Atlantic group are informed of A/C technical status via the group FSR.

Ensure tools and equipment are treated correctly, and are stored in the correct locations 

Responsible for ensuring proper handover procedures are completed iaw the MOE. 

Ensure company premises and vehicles are maintained and good housekeeping standards are achieved at all times. Report any building/facilities defects to LMM.

Be well informed about valid instructions, regulations and maintenance information. 

Keep current with the approved working schedules, company procedures, requirements and any authorisation ratings held for the work performed. 

Carry out any other such reasonable duties as the company sees fit in accordance with the responsibilities of the position 

Academic/Educational Requirements 

  • Unrestricted EASA B1 license – type rating on 737CL.

Required Skills/Experience: 

  • Minimum 5 years Aviation Engineering experience
  • Must be Proactive, self-motivated & confident self-starter
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Possess confident and effective communication skills (both written & verbal)

Duties:

Responsible for certifying the work in the hangar and line; in consultation with the Line Station Controller (LSC).

Ensure all work is completed IAW company procedures and the relevant maintenance documentation, Technical logs and work orders, are completed and returned to technical records.

Responsible for ensuring any required parts/tools for maintenance are ordered correctly, and monitor with logistics/supervisors regarding estimated delivery times.

Responsible for ensuring proper handover procedures are completed iaw the MOE.

Ensure company premises are maintained and good housekeeping standards are met at all times. Report any building/facilities defects to LSC.

Be well informed about valid instructions, regulations and maintenance information.

Be well informed about the procedures regarding production quality control and quality audit especially how they apply at the specific maintenance tasks.

Perform maintenance on equipment that is used for maintenance and apply a high maintenance standard.

Keep current with the approved working schedules, Company procedures, requirements and any authorization ratings held for the work performed.

Have confidence to issue an SMS report if a violation from the established company Flight Safety Standard is discovered.

Carry out any other such reasonable duties as the company sees fit in accordance with the responsibilities of the position.

Academic/Educational Requirements:   

  • Unrestricted EASA B1 license – preferable type rating on BAe ATP and CRJ-200.
